Charles Feldmann to Speak at Canna Tech Global

Cantafio & Song PLLC is proud to announce that our own Attorney Charles Feldmann has been invited to speak at CannaTech Global in Tel Aviv. CannaTech showcases the biggest industry thought leaders, known for their significant and groundbreaking contributions to the global cannabis market in fields such as science, finance, government policy and tech. Representatives from over 40 countries will be converging on Israel’s Mediterranean coast to discuss the most current industry topics and give attendees a wide-angle understanding of the global cannabis industry.

Charles Feldmann, a former DEA Drug Task Force Commander and former state’s narcotics prosecutor, will be sharing his insight and expertise on the other side of the cannabis constitutional law. Mr. Feldmann’s talk is titled, “The United States Federal Government and the Cannabis Industry. Where is it all headed?” and he will be discussing the following:

  • A brief history of the U.S. policy towards marijuana
  • Cannabis evolution under the Obama Administration
  • January 2017 — Inauguration Day

As the emerging legal cannabis industry quickly evolves and federal risks have decreased, Mr. Feldmann’s focus has shifted to advising his marijuana business clients on achieving and maintaining strict compliance with state-by-state rules and regulations. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Feldmann-Nagel, LLC and his work encompasses corporate operations, licensing, intellectual property, joint ventures, and partnership and enforcement appeals.

Charles Feldmann will be speaking from 10:15 – 10:35 on Tuesday, 20 March, 2018. If you want to learn more about Canna Tech Global, head over to their website to get an overview of what to expect at this year’s event.
