commencing with corporate structuring to enable debt and equity funding.
Subsequent work in the legal marijuana industry has included complex leasing/financing
transactions, zoning appeals, various zoning compliance issues, and land use.
Mr. Markofsky has been in practice in Denver since 1996. A native of New
York City, Mr. Markofsky was drawn to Colorado by the values, mountains,
fresh air, and outdoor lifestyle. Upon graduating from Cornell University
he moved to Breckenridge to pursue his passions of skiing and mountain
biking. That one-season excursion on the way to law school turned into
two seasons and a call to make Colorado home. Attending Brooklyn Law School
solidified that the Mountain West was home. Mr. Markofsky matriculated
from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder.
When not working, you will find Daniel active in the community, skiing,
camping, exploring the West by Land Cruiser and on foot, skis, and wheels,
taking pictures, spending time with good friends, traveling the world
visiting family, and tinkering in the garage.
